Emerson loves to cook, but her style of cooking usually involves plastic peas and plastic chicken. So we gave real pizza an attempt tonight. The only problem was that she enjoyed eating the toppings before they could make it to the pizza- even the raw onions. She ate so much of it that she had no interest in actually eating the pizza in the end. Oh well... more for Daddy!

Holy Snow!
Since this winter has been one sickness after another and too darn cold- this has been our only time in the snow so far. The sad part is that it was too deep to play in. The only action Emerson got was a sucky sled ride (that lasted 10 feet) and making snowballs in the driveway (cause that was the only place she could stand. Thankfully it was a warm day !

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
Yeah! 2009!
All is well in McIntyreland. The Melting Pot had an awesome holiday season and Eric is getting ready for Valentine's Day! Jaime is getting ready to go back to work (sucks) and is looking forward to a four day weekend soon! Emerson is working on her 3 and 4 word sentences. She has added 'is', 'the', 'and' and other linking words and verbs... and repeats everything. The girl has got a voice and isn't gonna hold back! Emerson is really into her dolls, kitchen (cook) and cars- which thankfully Santa knew in advance.
Today we are all hanging out home! (Which doesn't happen too often.) Emerson is working on her art and finishing her car (shoulda just bought a bunch of boxes for Christmas...).
Here is to 2009.

Merry Merry Christmas!
Christmas was a blast this year- since Emerson got the concept and was interested in playing. We have yet to remove her from her kitchen and the baby dolls are eating her plastic food- as well as us! The Melting Pot has been having a successful season and Eric has been busy, busy, busy. With all the weather he can hardly wait to move to the West Side and shorten the commute and the inner belt bridge trip. We were very glad to see so many friends and family over the past week and we are very happy to see everyone doing so well. If we didn't get to see you, we hope to soon!
