Happy Birthday Emerson!

Emerson had an amazing 3rd birthday! After her birthday donut we all went to she Mommy's Baby Doctor, where Emerson got to hear her brother's heartbeat and re-meet Dr. Robinson 3 years to the day later! Then a trip to get balloons, skeeball and lunch at The Lizard (Emerson's request), home to rest and then her best friend Granny, Papa, Papa Mickey, Meme, Nanny and Uncle Mike came over for a party. Unlike years past, Emerson wouldn't let the presents past the door... she opened them all on the floor of the kitchen! Sushi and pizza for dinner (per Emerson), cake, play and pass out! Thanks everyone! Emerson, although tired and pushed to the limit, loved it!

Easter Day!

It was a very busy Easter! After finding all the eggs and her basket, we all made the attempt at church. After 15 mintues, Emerson insisted on leaving. Ahhhh 3! After a quick stop at home and a regroup, we went to Granny's were Emerson found more eggs, got an awesome outfit and DORA doll and did a fashion show for us on the front steps. We spent the afternoon at Nanny and Papa Mickey's, with Granny, Uncle Mike, Meme and Papa. The Easter Bunny even left stuff over there for her! Books, clothes, candy (which she shared), Dora stuff galore, gardening things and lots more! Granny read her one of her new books and then went on a gator ride with her and Papa Mickey!

Easter Morning!

The Big Bunny came and left Emerson an awesome basket with books, bracelets, socks and suckers and left some hidden eggs. Next year we need to tell the bunny to hide them better, it proved to be a little too easy for her!

Although it wasn't sheer amazement like last year, Emerson enjoyed her egg experience this year. Amazingly enough, she only ended up with a few green fingers... 

Meet Alex, the fish!

Meme and Papa bought Emerson a fish that she named Alex. Here is to hoping that Alex sticks around for a while. 

It's a boy!

So after a year and some change of crappiness and sadness... we are 20 weeks pregnant with one healthy and large baby boy! He will most likely be making his appearance on 7/7/10 after his scheduled C-Section. Emerson is really excited and is having fun going through her baby stuff for the new baby (I had totally forgotten how many unisex and boy clothing items we had bought for her... ). As of now, the baby is kicking away and really likes to kick down... which is a little problematic  :-)
