Happy Birthday to me...

34 was probably the most bizarre birthday to date. Although we all got to hang out together, Emerson was not having anything and Bryce was screaming most of the day. Every attempt on getting out of the house failed, until Eric called in reinforcements and we made it to Three Birds, The Market and The Rush. Emerson insisted on a cake, so at 7 PM Eric ran to DQ and purchased me the ultimate Princess cake!

Hannah and Andy came over for a little play and lunch! Dang, does Emerson love her some Andy!

Hey... I can smile!

Bryce is working on his happy side. Not as easy to crack as Emerson, Bryce has managed to give us a giggle and a good smile at least once a day! He tends to be very serious and takes everything in.

2 Months ALREADY???

I seriously feel like the past two months have flown past, but at the same time it feels like Bryce has been here forever! He is doing really well! He has just started to really smile and make the cute baby noises (up until now it has been screaming...)! We are very happy that he has realized that night is for sleeping and he is working on sleeping past three hour stretches. We are very excited to see his personality come out even more over the upcoming weeks!

Hey there! I'm a Month Old!

One month later... Bryce is still really good at the basics of eating and pooping. Sleeping... not so great. Whereas Emerson was a champ sleeper (sleeping 8 hours a night by 7 weeks), Bryce is a champ with the colic. AGHHHHHHHHHH! His favorite time to scream is midnight to 4 am (which use to be my favorite time to sleep). We all know this will get better, with time. Emerson loves the role of Big Sister. She likes to sing and tell stories to Bryce and is willing to help change a nasty diaper!

Dancing and Sleeping...

...seems to be what we are pretty good at. The past four weeks have flown by! Bryce is pretty good at making his own schedule and seems to have one heck of a case of colic. Emerson is a great bid sister and even stays asleep during the midnight screaming sessions!
