When everyone is sick...

... build a tent! Emerson's crappy cold has infected me and most likely Bryce. So, we built a living room tent and she spent most of her day laying around in it. Bryce, on the other hand, seemed more willing to move it, so I hooked him up for the first time in his walker. He managed to get all the way around the kitchen island and then enjoyed bumping into the oven like six or seven times.

O Christmas Tree!

Emerson said that she was going to pick out the tree, but once we got there she just wanted to play with the two labs that hang out at the nursery. She even asked if we could bring them home. Not so much... we have Jager. Eric and I picked out the tree, very quickly and done!

Bryce is 5 Months Old!!!

A lot has happened in the past month! Bryce now has his two bottom teeth (the came in within a week of one another), can sit all by him self (but I wouldn't walk too far away) and he has worked his way through rice cereal and oatmeal and is now sampling the wonderful world of soupy baby food. He also managed to roll over a few times and he can just push himself up to a crawl before he falls back down. Not to worry, because he can turn himself and scoot anywhere on his back. He is very focused and has already learned how to manipulate most of his toys. Emerson is doing really well too! She has been loving school and swim practice. She learned how to put her own shirt on this month (which is huge) and can now write all the letters to her name and spell it. Yippie!

This is what happens...

when you leave a tube of lip balm laying around that looks like candy and the three year old sees it and decides to "apply" it.

Go Cavs!?!

Bryce got dressed for the game. So did the players. Bryce stayed home and watched some of it. So did the players.

Randomness

Emerson thought she would try out the jumperoo. Not so much, but she did have fun. Bryce loves watching her, as you can see. And he is one stinkin' happy baby.
